1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Protailor ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

We may modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

2. Description of Service

Protailor is an AI-powered job application toolkit that helps users create tailored CVs, cover letters, and job fit analyses. The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate personalized application materials based on user-provided profile information and job descriptions.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information
Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use the Service.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features of the Service require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to:

Pay all applicable fees for your chosen plan
Provide valid payment information
Automatic renewal at the end of each billing period unless cancelled

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Upon cancellation, you will retain access until the end of your current billing period. No refunds will be provided for partial billing periods.

Price Changes: We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will notify you of any price changes before they take effect.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Generate false, misleading, or fraudulent content
Impersonate another person or entity
Include false information in your profile or generated materials
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
Use automated means to access the Service without permission
Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service
Use the Service to spam or harass others

6. User Content

Your Content: You retain ownership of all content you provide to the Service, including your profile information, work history, and any other materials you upload.

License to Us: By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to use, process, and store your content solely to provide and improve the Service. This license terminates when you delete your account.

Generated Content: Content generated by the AI (CVs, cover letters, etc.) is yours to use. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all generated content before using it in your job applications.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate application materials. While we strive for accuracy and quality:

AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies
You are responsible for reviewing and editing all generated content
We do not guarantee that generated content will result in job interviews or offers
You should not include false or misleading information in your applications
The quality of output depends on the accuracy and completeness of your input

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, code, and branding, is owned by Protailor and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service without our written permission.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with or rely on third-party services (payment processors, AI providers, hosting services). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the actions or policies of third-party services.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PROTAILOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Protailor and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it from your dashboard or contacting us.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the appropriate courts.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Protailor regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements.
